Final Stats

BROOKLYN, NY - The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team saw its season come to a close on Saturday with a loss to #3 seed Robert Morris, 3-0 (30-25, 30-24, 30-19), in the first round of the Northeast Conference Tournament at Long Island University.

The Pioneers conclude the season with a 9-20 record, the most wins ever for women's volleyball since making the transition to Division I in 1999.

Sophomore Alex Bavasi (Flagstaff, AZ) and sophomore Annie Archer (Littleton, CO) led the Pioneers against Robert Morris with ten kills apiece. Senior Christine Duffy (Massapequa, NY) finished her Sacred Heart career with 12 digs against Robert Morris.

The Colonials will face #2 seed Central Connecticut State in the semi-finals of the Tournament.
