MILFORD, Conn. (October 29, 2007) - Sacred Heart junior Jennifer Tierney (Danbury, CT) finished sixth at the SHU Fall Classic at the Great River Golf Club Monday afternoon. The Pioneers took fourth place at the event.

Tierney finished the two-round event with a score of 169 (89-80), trimming nine strokes off her Sunday round. The junior led SHU to a fourth place finish as the Pioneers improved 22 strokes over the round one team score. The Pioneers shot 372 on day one and 354 on day two at the par 72, 5,849 yard course.

The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights came home with both the team and individual titles. The Knights finished with a two day score of 684 (346 - 338) with Michele Holzwarth taking home the individual trophy with a 163 (82-81).
